Compensation Policy for Viewscape independent retail partners
Scope
This policy applies to all independent resellers of Viewscape who experience a faulty product from Viewscape manufacturing errors that necessitate a second site visit.
Eligibility Criteria
- The error must be a direct result of a manufacturing fault by Viewscape, where the product has not been manufactured to Viewscape’s specifications. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Wrong fabric or fabric / product colour
- Wrong size manufactured
- Supplying incorrect products
- Any manufacturing error outside specification that requires a return visit to the site
The issue must be reported and managed via the submission of a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) on the Viewscape website. Please note our standard Trading Terms & Conditions apply and lodgement of a relevant claim must be made within 14 days of receipt of goods.
The policy does not cover issues outside of Viewscape’s control, i.e. failed components, supplier defects, fraying or faulty fabric, latent defects (such as Pin holes, waviness or fading in fabric), motors (including remotes & accessories), or Damage occurring during freight, client storage or installation.
Compensation Details
Where a second visit to site is required due to a manufacturing error caused by Viewscape, the company will contribute $50 towards the fee for the inconvenience of having to return to site.
- The $50 contribution is provided as a credit to your reseller account.
- Only one $50 credit will be issued per order based on the completed “Non-Conformance Report” and associated rework site visit. One credit per job (not per product).
- The credit is not redeemable for cash and is applied against future purchases or statements.
- Applicable for orders placed after October 30th, 2025.
Process for Claiming the Contribution
- Identify the manufacturing error that requires a return site visit.
- Complete and submit a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) via the Viewscape website, clearly detailing the issue including all relevant supporting information (e.g., photos, order numbers).
- Upon verification and approval of the NCR by Viewscape, a $50 credit will be applied to your reseller account.
- You will be notified once the credit has been processed.
